Green Raw Materials

We support the planet

The circularity of raw materials is today an element of fundamental importance for reducing the impact of production activities on the environment.

Polymers for the steel industry

The steel industry is considered by many to be a sector with a strong environmental impact and, in some ways, it probably is.

The steel industry, however, has always been at the forefront when it comes to the reuse of waste products. Suffice it to say that one of the fundamental raw materials to produce steel and cast iron is scrap.

Steel, like cast iron, is an infinitely recyclable material and capable of resisting for decades. For this reason, it is considered one of the materials that will support the technological growth of the future as it has done until now.

Use non-recyclable plastic waste instead of fossil carbon

Italy has a chronic difficulty in waste disposal and ends up exporting a significant quantity of non-recyclable plastic waste which would instead be crucial in the green transition of the steel sector.

A more accurate selection entrusted to much more technologically advanced means allows us to carefully separate what is not recyclable to prevent recyclable materials from ending up being disposed of incorrectly.

Providing an alternative means increasing the capacity to process waste, eliminating bottlenecks and therefore having a cleaner territory.

It reduces the environmental impact of emissions due not only to the use of coal but also to its extraction, processing, and transport from one end of the world to the other.
