Products
Cast iron and steel do not exist in nature, they are alloys created by man’s mastery over centuries of evolution in metalworking. Both are Iron-Carbon alloys which differ from each other precisely due to the content of the latter.
Today, the industry needs increasingly sophisticated alloys to guarantee the most suitable materials for technological progress.
For this reason, a whole series of chemical elements are inserted by steel mills and foundries into the production process to give steel and cast iron specific characteristics depending on their use.
B-TRADE: Your trusted trader
The raw materials necessary to produce steel or cast iron come from very specific places and are almost always far from the place of use. This means considering several elements:
- Geopolitical Risk
- Macroeconomic aspects
- Local regulations
- Organization and supervision of logistics
- Quality management
- Global price volatility
- Exchange rates between different currencies
Raw materials trading therefore requires having skills in different and complementary fields without which it is not possible to manage the flow of goods efficiently and effectively, minimizing the risk and maximizing the result for all operators involved.
